Dear Flatworm Researchers,

We are pleased to announce the 7th International Macrostomum Meeting, which will be held at the European Research Institute for the Biology of Ageing in Groningen, The Netherlands. The meeting will start at 18:00 on Friday, November 29, and finish around 14:00 on Sunday, December 1, 2013.

The community of researchers who use Macrostomum as a model organism to address a broad range of biological questions is steadily growing, and since 2007 the International Macrostomum Meeting has been the key event for Macrostomum researchers to get together and exchange experiences on working with this powerful model organism. The Meeting has been also a great venue for people who consider starting to work on Macrostomum, as it provides a good overview of the developments in the Macrostomum community and ample networking opportunities.

In tradition with previous meetings, we aim to keep things simple and inexpensive. There are no registration costs for the meeting thanks to the financial support from ERIBA and Stichting Medicorum (UMCG) but registration is required. Attendees are expected to cover their travel and accommodation costs.

Please use this form at http://www.macgenome.org/IMM2013/register.html to register for the meeting. The registration deadline is November 11, 2013.

We are looking forward to see you at the 7th International Macrostomum Meeting in Groningen!
